Your place looks just like mine.

I'm hoping to pull off one of these types of vacations days myself in the next few weeks. Our kids are on fall break and I have some maple coming down at my mother-in-laws. I'll be pawning the kids off on grandma and splitting up all I can.

What is fall break? School year round out your way?

Yeah, basically they start the year end of July-Aug get 2 week breaks in Oct (Fall break) , Dec(xmas), and March (Spring break). and then get around 8 weeks off in the summer. Snow days get taken out of the spring break and summer break. It sounds like a pain to some, but I actually like it. I think most families here have found they like the "balanced" schedule. Fall break is about the most popular break for vacations around here.
