Thermal Storage Circulator pump issues

Here is one for everyone...I have a Weil-Mclean oil fired boiler in my home with a Honeywell r8182d Aqua stat. I also have the Biomass 60 in my shop about 150 feet from the house. When I installed the closed foam pipe I added several runs of thermostat wire, fire wire for my alarm system, cat 5 cable.

As you all know I installed thermal storage this year. I have a Taco 007 circulator pump water to the tank and back...I have a large grundfos pump pushing water from the thermal storage to the house. In my shop I have a Taco sr503-exp to control a circulator and heat in the shop, this controller gave a zone 3 priority. Tonight I tried to connect the Honeywell, from the "TT" terminal to the Taco in my shop one the Zone 3 in the shop...it turn on the Grundfos. ..the Honey well was making an awful racket when I went back in the house. Can anyone help?

UM, do you have a smart grundfos pump??

You apparently have a bad thermostat.

I would look at a Hydrostat 3250 plus to replace it.
 
A different question. What size and type is the pipe between the 150' run to the boiler and back? The pump head in this 300' run of pipe may be a problem with a 007 in moving enough water to handle your boiler output.
 
I don't know the size of the pump but it has been on the boiler for 2 years during batch burns..the only change is it was moved from the boiler loop to the thermal storage loop. I can't figure out how to wire the honeywell r8182d to the Taco sr503-exp. Again thank you for ready my thread.

I think his storage is in his shop beside the boiler, and the 007 is in between those. And a large grundfos is pumping to the house.

The most water you can move to heat with effectively in 3/4 inch pipe with a circulator is 4 gallons per minute. Any greater volume causes nothing but noise issues from friction.
More than that and you are losing heat that can be utilised.

You have to find out what the circulator(s) is pushing through the systems as you obviously have air bubbles.

He said nothing about 3/4" pipe, and how can air bubbles create noise in an aquastat?
 
Where in the system with regards to expansion? Cavitation maybe? OOPS misread!
 
Sounds like your contacts aren't pulling in completely. Could be going bad but maybe you don't have a good connection on the Taco side??
