Does anyone know a reasonably priced place to buy firewood? I am near the Connecticut border. This is the first time in five years that I need to buy wood, and the prices are killing me. Thanks.

What are the prices like in my old stomping grounds? In Northern MA they are $350/cord. After Sandy came thru you couldn't give the wood away in Westchester.
You're probably going to have to buy kiln-dried wood at this late date. It will cost a high premium. These showed up in a quick Google search:

I can ask my sister. She lives in that area. It is pricey. Maybe try on the CT side up near New Milford?

Watchout, on I84 at the state line there is a sign warning about moving firewood between states....may have to cut thru Rt. 22 to 684
