Burn a lot; love it. I don't see much difference from oak but it dries much quicker.

Its the best of the birches I can get, a solid 22MBTU per cord IIRC. I would take 8 cords, maybe 10 if I could get it delivered at that price.

i'd take at least 10 cords if i could get it at that price and it was a full cord. I'd pay that for log length, let alone already cut up. Jump on it. Just make sure you're getting a full cord.

Jeeze, why are you even wasting the time to ask? Get as much as you can at that price. I have some in my stacks that I got on a scrounge this spring. It is sitting right around 18 % now.

3 ft x 6 ft x 13 ft = 234 cubic feet. A cord is 128 cubic feet tightly stacked. so you have about 1.8 cords if the wood is tightly stacked.

My favorite wood to burn...burns hot and complete...I have cut and burned in the same year..beats oak hands down...easy to split, just split it shortly after it's cut. I would buy as much as you can for that price.

Buy as much as you can afford, split, stack and top cover it, and enjoy one of the best varieties of firewood you can find.

Last year I had to buy 2 cords of wood because I was short for winter and there was some Black Birch mixed in. I never burned any before but I knew what it was and It's one of the best woods you can burn. It burns as hot as Hickory and Locust but it burns easily and completely. That's a great find good for you man!

On a load of wood such as that, I dont think volume in cord measurement is all that critical. My sister got shorted once on a load of almost straight hickory. She complained and the guy brought her more wood but said he was done with her as a customer.
The problem is his dump trailer didn't hold the 2 cords he said he was selling. But a cord and a half of hickory or Black birch I wouldnt complain about.

I found a guy that will bring me rounds. Not easy. Most guys want to split and make more money per cord. I got 4 cords for $550. He's paying $100 cord for the logs. I split and stack and if I'm short he brings me more. 80% oak. Rest is ash, maple, and birch.
