You're gonna regret the 5.5 ft short bed. I sure do..
 
The 5.5 bed is great for every day and it sure parks nice. I added a 10X6 utility trailer and haul 1.5 full cords at a time no proplem. Leather and wood no better smells around.

The backup camera makes it easier to back into a parking space that pulling in forwards.

My last truck had the back up camera, and the sensors...great combination. The new truck has neither, but Garmin sells a wireless camera that can be used with my Nav system that works when you put the vehicle in reverse......thinking about it
 
Beautiful truck even if it is a GMC. I like black, looks great when clean but I'm not that interested in all the work involved with that at this point in my life. Too much other stuff to manage, mostly work and wood-related these days. Congrats and good luck with it
 
I believe that backup cameras will be required in all vehicles sold in the U.S. for all models 2018 and newer.
 
This is as high as I would load it (Elm) being I was going about 5 miles to drop this load at a friends house. The next load was considerably higher because I was just going to the back of our property
