Jotul F3 CB Baffle plate warped?

This is a brand new stove. haven't even built 10 fires in it yet. I followed the break in procedure and have never allowed the stove top thermometer (which is placed where the jotul recommends) to exceed 550 F. I am worried that this now broken. What do you guys think? I'm also worried about the redness of the firebox. All I have burned are bio bricks from http://libertybricks.yolasite.com/

Ok. Maybe my ignorance is just getting me worried. Such an expensive investment, I'd be pretty hot (no pun intended) if I was having craftsmanship problems before the first season even got started.

Should those bolts be tightened down though top close the gap? It does look like something was welded and that's coming off

sorry to necro this post, but I wanted to ask again about the redness since I didn't get a definitive answer other than BrotherBart saying his looked like mine. Is the redness that developed on the surfaces normal? is it the iron rusting? Is this cause for concern? If it's not normal, what could be the reason for this? I do notice that when the fatwood stick is burning and the sap starts pooling that it can get a little moist looking in the firebox until it completely burns off. should i stop doing this?
