I now have the back of the stove opened up and would appreciate the step by step for removing the blower/fan. Im guessing its the squirrel cage looking one. I see two SS bolts. Am I on the right track here guys? any help would be great. thanks

Page 35 of the on-line manual shows the outline of the "distribution" motor. They usually are a squirrel cage. Tried to see if there was any relevant videos in the owner resources but didn't see much (but didn't watch each one either!)

Yes the distribution / convection / room blower has 2 Bolts and 2 wires. Just pull the wire clips out and remove the 2 bolts with an extension on your drill/ driver! Easy Peasy!

Now the fan I pulled was a Dayton. Is that standard or do I have an aftermarket? I bought this used. Also, the fan has three wires. Blk, yellow, and green. The green pulled off the spade easy enough but the other two go into a red male/female connection that I tried to coax out but was really afraid of really pulling hard cause I wasn't sure if that is how its designed. Anyone with any thoughts will be appreciated.

The needlenose worked albeit it was a struggle. Just received my replacement fan. Does it matter if the blak and white wires on the new fan go back onto the (blue and white) male spades the way they came off? I failed to mark how they came off.

Thanks everyone!!...the pellet stove, thanks to this great forum; is up and running. The new blower is smooth and quiet. I love DIY projects where I save a boatload of $$.

I used a Dayton that I picked up from Amazon. It was around 75 bucks total. It was the same model/serial number that was on the original blower.
The only thing with the new is it doesn't come with connectors for the wires. I just clipped the old ones and spliced.
