I logged in when the forum came back up and haven't had to log in since.

As someone that works on websites, you have to do regular maintenance and updates on the things that make up the site for security reasons, browser adoption, etc. In this case, this site runs on a forum script that likely needed to be updated. Any time you do a major update/upgrade, there are usually some bugs or transitions that need to be made as you segue to the new format. Be patient and also realize that change is inevitable.

Seems to be working fine for me now.
Was slow on Sunday, faster on Tuesday and required my login each time.
But tonight it remembered me. Speed seems fine.
And as mentioned.......price is right.

If you want the display to look more like the old page just scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click on "old hearth" and it will give you a choice....

YOU ARE NOT ONE. I THOUGHT I WAS ON THE WRONG SITE.

I monitor a website that hasn't changed it's look since 1998, though there are a lot of background features that have been updated.
People are always complaining that it has to join the twenty first century.

You can't please everyone.

More replys to this post, that is free for the members, than asking the full membership

I like the new site layout. It looks more modern, has more modern features and its obviously more SEO friendly. (ducking)
