Greetings all! Put new door gaskets on the Isle Royale and had a question, how do the rest of you keep the ends from fraying out? I took a toothpick and some of the adheasive and kinda tried to tuck the strands back into itself, it worked but im question how long before it starts to fret, any tricks of the trade? Thanks

Here's how to fix it. It's pretty much like what you did only use a little high temp silicone when you tuck the fibers in. After that put some masking tape over the seam and close the door until silicone cures. Don't pull the tape off until the stove is warm. One of the new stoves I bought a couple of years ago had masking tape on the seam as I described. It works and no more friseys. I also need to mention that some of the whiskers may need to be trimmed with scissors to get a good fit.
