Put a few bags through the stove. Very low ash, very clean glass, good heat but haven't had to crank the stove yet. Probably the least amount of fines I've seen in any brand I've tried. For $250/ton, they are well-priced considering what's being sold for $300+ a ton out there. I know the owner of the store and he assures me he's not losing money on his selling price, explaining that his distributor got a nice wholesale price and added that supply is no problem this year. This store orders three or four tons at a time and they arrive three or four days later.

I ran these last year and loved them. Roasted the house when the stove was cranked. Dealers around here know they are good and they are $300+ per ton. :(

Got 4 bags of Lignetics from a little grocery store the next town over. Will be burning a bag soon (it's on deck, waiting to bat). Putting it in the P43 for the main floor. If they burn with a bunch less ash than what else I have been burning, I'll see if they have more and I'll add to the stash and use them and the Pres-to's for the main floor, probably with some FSU's thrown in. Will burn the Currans and ThermaGlo in the big stove since it has the bigger ash pan.

there 250 plus tax here

Funny, I was wondering why one ton was still sitting at my local grocery store and found the price is $275 vice $250. That explains it.

$6.99 a bag. local ACE store a couple of days ago

Im at DPS School today, Hitting up Nassau ACE or True Value- whatever they are. I got my ton of Barefoots there. Looking for Lignetics this time. ACE on 7 seems high for their pellets I felt.

Edit: $6.89 a bag at Nassau ACE. $300 a ton. Grabbed a dozen bags to tide me over until after my bills go through.

These are my go-to pellets. They burn hot, clean and are low ash. The two negatives I can come up with, and trust me I'm digging deep here because they are such a good pellet for me, 1. They are a bit dusty in the bag, though ironically very low fines. When you pour them into the hopper there is a small cloud, haha. 2. The ash is super fine and has a similar effect when cleaning. Haha

I had pretty good results with Lignetics last season, tho' not as good as Hamer's Hot Ones. But this year's Hamer's, purchased over the summer, are burning with WAY more ash, and have produced several clinker piles. Something of a disappointment. Lignetics was my #2, that rank may flip.
