1 bag pellets about 3 bags corn.

Four bags of equine pellets (good) and four bags of green Lignetics (great). Summer is returning to NH this week so I'm letting the stove empty the hopper and then she'll rest for a while.

Since September 27, I've burned about 29 bags*. No propane use at all except for DHW.

* Yes, I'm old, yes I'm a cold-blooded woman who likes a warm house. Plus, I'm heating some of the foundation and a concrete floor.

I believe reptilian is the proper term. Try closing some windows.

Around 8 here due to some cooler short lived crappy weather snaps. I do not count bags. More into the bulk. I still have 7 tons of Sets and numerous leftover bags from last year. More than good with stock.

11 bags of 802's here 45 miles NE of Albany. We use no oil to heat the house.

Best regards,
Randi
Hey RSica.....where and when did you get your 802's? Have a follow up comment!
Thanks, Bill

Hi Bill,
Bought the 1st 2 tons of 802's during the summer from the Stove Depot in Bennington,VT. They have several locations in VT and are fabulous to deal with. They were the first retailer to offer the Queston 802's, and I believe Vermont Renewable Fuels in East Dorset Vermont also now carries them.

Stove Depot also carries an Energex mix($263) which was pretty good, LaCrete($321/60 bags or $267.50 per ton) which is excellent, along with Ambiance($282), Northern($282) and Turman(Unknown). The 802's are now Super Premium this year and sell there for $275.00. This pricing may have changed but is the latest I had.

Best regards,
Randi

I don't really count bags of pellets, but I took a picture of what was in my basement after I brought in the 4 tons I had delivered. So, I have a visual record by just going back to the picture. Add that I bought 4 bags of Stove Chows and 4 bags of TSD (or was it 5?), and have burned them already, so far it is easy to keep track of.

Once I start bringing in bags from the garage and restocking the basement, I won't have much clue. It's all good as long as I always have at least 1 ton on hand ;)

No need to get snarky with my skin condition - LOL

It's stupid; I can ride in the cold weather - yeah, I got plenty of gear, but as one guy said to me at the gas station this morning (40::F, cloudy and dark), "You're a better man than I am. There is no way!" Heck, I didn't even have my heated gear on or my fleece neck wrap (was using my heated grips). But get me in a building and I need warmth!

Thanks Randy! I have been burning the Vermont Softwood Pellets for the past 3 years. I got them in bulk delivery "blown in" to my two pellet storage bags in my basement. When VRF said that they could deliver a "new" softwood pellet to bulk/storage, I jumped on it just to try a new softwood pellet. At the start of the last week

Woops, not sure what I did here.....anyway they called me to tell me that after refitting, adjusting and tweeking their production process that they were now firing up the mill and going back into production and that I will be getting delivery of my new softwood pellets soon. So these pellets are the newest ones coming out of the Queston mill! I forgot to ask them if they will still be 802's or some new name......? Good luck with yours, I'm glad your happy with them. Bill

2 here on the seacoast of NH. I reap the benefit of lots of windows, southern exposure, and super insulation......

I would say probably about 12 bags. It's my sole source of heat for my house. I try not to burn bags unless the temps outside goes into the 30's. My wife and mother-in-law are from the Philippines so if I let them they'd have the house at about 78 degrees but I reign them in and say 70 - 71 degrees is fine, if you're cold put on a sweater and flannel lined pants, add another blanket or comforter to the bed because I'm not going to burn about 6 tons of pellets to keep the house that hot :). I did buy 10 bags of the Green Supreme from HD for the early season so I could save the good stuff (LG's) for when the real heating season begins.
