Wow, that's a great price. I'll have to check the WMT here in Epping.

That is great. I think I was paying 3.68 a bag at Wally in 2005 (beginning of year).
I am going to have to pick up another 1/2 ton here sometime soon.

Where is Wally World, never heard of it, or are you talking about Walmart???

Ugghh.. $4.94 at Epping WMT.

awesome sale at wally world in concord.........pennington natures heat for 3.28 a bag!............burn very good!

wow!
if there were prices like that around here there would be a stampede at Wallyworld

I'd love to call around to my area stores (Portsmouth, Newington, Somersworth, Rochester), but I find that it is way to painful to get someone on the line who knows what wood pellets are. You really just have to stop by.....which I cannot stand to do within 3 weeks of Christmas!

Really hoping that big box stores over bought this year and the deals will be there in january (fingers crossed)

I use to just ask for the outdoor/garden section and seldom had
a problem.
Once in a while a new employee answers who is clueless, but
they get someone on the phone who knows what's up with pellets.

I wouldn't be one of the herd. I had a couple of years
of shlepping pellets in my friends and sisters pickup trucks.
For me, it is so worth spending a little extra to have 3 or 4 tons
delivered to my home in one drop than to run back and forth
to the store.

I agree with ya there zeta, there would be a stampede but I would not
be a part of it myself. ;-)
I avoid the stores this time of year as I do not have the patience to deal
with rude people.

Getting the winter supply all at once works for me too.
I have just enough storage space to hold about 3 ton and that should be
plenty to get me through the winter without needing more. (hopefully)
