So I went to find out the latest offering of wood pellets like I always do when I'm in Lowes. This time I noticed a bright green cover over the Greene Supremes instead of the normal dark green. When taking a look at the bag, the bottom said proudly packed by New England Wood Pellet Co in Pennsylvania. I was not aware they had a plant in PA. Has anyone had any experience with these. I wasn't in a real rush to try them. I'm still burning the last half ton of turds I got from the New York Plant last year.

Most likely produced at the Allegheny pellet plant that was just acquired by them recently.

My bags have three addresses on them. Schuyler NY, Deposit NY, Jaffrey NH. NEWP, bought at my local stove shop.

That's their fourth plant. One in NH, two in NY and now one in PA.

If you try them, please report on how they burn.

Around here NEWPs are way too expensive for what I consider a middling pellet (at least what I got 2 years ago were). Weird since the plant is like 15 miles from me - I would be happy to buy a locally made pellet if the price was right for the offering.
