I am having chimney problems and I just can't figure out what the problem is, any suggestions? ;)

Looks good to me. I suspect you're burning poor quality wood...

An exterior chimney won't draw as well...
 
.. A block off plate may solve that issue

Can't believe that bholler hasn't admitted installing that chimney yet.
 
Does it have s single or a double liner? Is it insulated if it is a single? Some Roxul might help a bit...
 
I'm surprised nobody has pointed out the double chimney caps with only one fire place.
 
And I wonder if trumpets increase the airflow...
 
I think the problem is wet wood - knot the chimney.
 
needs doors, open fireplaces are terribly inefficient!!!
