Hello All,

Been lurking for the passed couple weeks, thought I might sign up and ask some questions.

Just installed the beast Drolet eco-65. Probably overkill for this area of BC but if you are going to do something...do it big.

The heat it pumps out is insane...on lowest setting and gets up to 72...or about 21/22 for us Canucks... without issue in the downstairs part of the house. Is there anyway to adjust the fuel burn on this model? Our house is older and like most, the insulation is not fantastic.

It is even heating our upstairs which I thought would never happen. I am sure I will have more to say. I just wanted to get my rookie post in on the forum.

Cheers.

Anyone in Victoria BC on here? I am looking for a place to get good pellets. I know there is a place in Langford/Colwood but have heard mixed reviews of the pellets they carry...I cannot remember what brand they carry offhand.

Pictures!

Patience you must have Padawan! :)

Here they are...also just noticed condensation on my cold air intake...should this happen? Thanks,

arggg...to large have to retake.

Eco 65 is a nice stove. First year with mine also.
Other than the six heat controls on the side you cant easily adjust the feed rate. It is possible by going into the programming but unless your sure exactly what your doing I wouldn't recommend. Here is a link to a video that shows you how. https://www.hearth.com/talk/index.php?posts/1997504 <-- use at your own risk. It also shows how to adjust combustion fan, exhaust fan and some other stuff.

It is a beast and very comfortably heating our old farmhouse, downstairs and up also.
