I just started my new Englander pellet stove and worked for a minute but then auger stopped putting pellets into stove and now it's not working. We have taken augers out and taken apart and it's still not working.

I would suspect a vacuum(safety) issue stopping the feed auger. Air leak or plugged hose to the vac switch, Someone with like stove know the inner workings more should be along:)
Welcome

If its brand new I'd email or call englander it seems they like to sell lemons instead of working Stoves. They are pretty helpful though.

Probably not too many lemons at all, they build a workhorse!
If you are only looking here, you rarely see anything but new pellet people with problems, you NEVER see the hundreds or thousands of other buyers each year that have no problems. That is the same with any brand of stove!

Look at any stove name in thread titles, and I would guess at least 80% of the threads are problem with my XX brand of stove.

Personally, I absolutley love my England's Stove 25PDV!

Their customer support is fantastic, call or Email Mike "stoveguy2esw"and he will help you out.
Search him out here if you like, he lurks around many corners on hearth.com.

More lemons than you think. My frame was bent so the door gasket didn't seal, my control panel only half litup. I fixed the issues plus modded the stove to make it better. I love the stove that's why I made it better. But out of the box they have some issues.

Bent Frame was probably dropped during shipping, which may have caused the electrical board problems!
No Blowes or Homo Dopo employee would admit they dropped the stove off a forklift.

So because you had issues with yours out of the box , how is it you know for sure that all of them have some issues out of the box?

Your sig line shows you own Harman and England's. Not too many people are on both sides of the fence (so to speak).

If you can't say something constructive to help a new stove owner, don't!

Nope home cheepo employees can't drop a box and bend the frame but not the door. I talked to englander they admitted fault. I like my englander but if its brand new with issues its their fault.

Out of the box mine worked great, but my brothers blew a fuse as soon as he plugged it in. right out of the box. after some investigating, seems a wire had gotten pinched during assembly and it was shorting to the frame. Replaced the wire. didn't bother with warranty because I already had suitable wire and it only took 10 mins.

After that both stoves have been run hard for many years and never complain about it. They are on and heating right now.

Ouch.

Excellent reply by the way.

How long was it into start-up when the auger stopped?
