Last hear's FSU's were good for me. Nice short, uniform pellets. Ashier than Vermont Wood Pellets (super premium pellet) sure, but put out good heat and for the price can't be beat except maybe by Pres-to's (I haven't burned both in the same stove yet). Those were last year's pellets though - can't speak to this year's product.

Only burned 2 bags of these new FSU's and I get lots of soot on the glass (good heat though). I also have the TSC (white and blue bag) burns very clean, decent heat output. And the TSC (red bag) clean burning, fluffy brown ash, but not as much heat as the others. Still trying to decide which pellet's to go with as they are still widely available in the Nashua/Merrimack NH area. Any feedback would be much appreciated...

If you can get the barcodes, folks here can help. There's an app you can download and you can check it yourself but I don't recall the name.

That looks like a nice brand new Harman Pellet stove. They will burn most anything you put in them but you are right ,that is a lot of soot after two bags.I burned 5 tons of Firesides last year and they were very good.I have not burned this years batch but your glass should not be that dirty after two bags.Try a premium pellet like LG Granules,Blazer Douglas Fir,or LaCretes. They are not much more money than the cheap pellets.

Put some good stuff in it...........
You have an awesome new stove.
A few more bucks will be well spent....

Has anyone burned the FSU's from the Nashua HD yet? How are they?
I burned tham last year as a shoulder pellet, decent heat and a bit ashy

FSU has always been one of the better BB store pellets for me.

The red TSC bags and the blue and white bags here in New England are MWPs
