First fire of the season! The puppy thinks it's for him.

Just evacuated 53 year-old R5 insulation out of the attic and put in R19 to first fill in joust cavities before deciding what I will put in top of the Kraft faced R19 now that the 2x6 joist cavities are filled in.

The heat from the stove is awesome, especially since I didn't have to use as much wood to warm the house.

There's nothing like the warmth of a wood burning stove!

I'm an insomniac. If her rest of the house wasn't asleep I could get a lot done. Good night, I'm going to throw another log in the stove and that should keep the hiys arm until the kids leave for school and they will throw som wood in before they leave.
Wood 24/7/365.

The hound dog looks cozy. Nice looking stove too.

Our cat lurks in front of the stove just waiting for the fire. He often will park himself there, purring away, while I'm trying to load the stove.
