Hey everyone,

Is there any way to seal the door latch mechanism on my eco 65 and still have it operable?
My glass stays fairly clean except around where the latch goes through the door. The door seal is fine and runs down the outside of the latch leading me to believe it's sucking air in around the threads where it goes through the door.
I've thought of maybe trying some type of non permanent loctite but not sure that's a good idea.
Any suggestions? The pic is after 6 days straight burning. You can see where soot amd creosote is building up from the latch inwards.
Other than that I'm pretty impressed with how clean the glass does stay.

May be a small issue in the top left corner but I can live with that.

The glass is sealed to the frame on the left , top and right side, the bottom is acutally open to create the air wash, to keep the glass clean. Have a close look at the gasket between glass and door maybe it is damaged, causing issues your having.
