Not a lot of geothermal discussion on this board. Hence your lack of responses I suspect. Don't take it personally...
Go with the tube built for specifically GEO ground loops.. They will be cut to the proper length and have the return bends fused on, typically. PP is the most common material. The size of the tube you select depends on how much flow (energy) you are trying to move in and out of the ground. Typically 3/4 - 1" for residential 2" or larger for high load fields.
If it is a ground loop system best to consult with a GEO "looper" that is familiar with soil conditions in your area. Also the heat pump manufacturer should be involved in the loop field design.
