Replacing 8 year old 25 PDVC

stove has been quite successful so far. one thing to note though (and this depends on your "hookup" ) the exhaust connection is about 8 inches off the floor so its about 5 inches lower than the connection on your PDVC. so if you have a "straight out" and up, this may cause you to have to either elevate the stove some or move the thimble hole lower to be able to attach that way

Thanks Mike, Im unable to move the thimble as its thru the concrete foundation. What would be another solution ??
 
if we cannot move the hole down, the solution would be to raise the stove up. build a platform for it. the short distance between the connector height between the two stoves would make it hard to make up with the piping.
 
Pictures will help get you more solutions. If you have the room to move the stove right or left and out from the wall a bit more then you could use two 90 degree elbows to relocate the vent, assuming the vent runs straight out the wall, or if you're using a cleanout T and an elbow inside, a short piece of vent can be added along with rotating the T slightly to fine tune the height.
