What could be the problem if my pellet stove trips when i open my damper? Any help please. I know i don't have the best stove but i feel i shouldn't have these issues. I have a breckwell 5520. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. A fair number of members have looked at your question and yet you have gotten no response. Maybe give a tad more information such as what you mean by the word trip along with when the stove was last cleaned especially the exhaust pathways. There are not that many people on the forum that own Breckwells but there are a lot of things that are the same for all pellet stoves.

More info might help.

This is just a shot in the dark but perhaps adjusting the damper causes the stove to run hotter and the fans have to run faster to keep up. Another possibility is a bad breaker. I know that breakers tend to wear out the more they flip.
