I went to split and stack some more wood yesterday and almost started crying!

I had just finished the 2nd cord in my new woodshed and was going to go and start on cord #3, and I found this:

Piss poor stacking job and I have only myself to blame.

Took about 20 minutes before I could even stand on solid ground and not split wood and about an hour and a half to finish restacking it all again, including realigning the first cord so the 2nd cord would lean against the pole barn.

Oh well, lesson learned.
The stacks of wood you see in my picture are six feet high on account of lack of space for my racks. The go down at times especially when the frost is coming out of the ground and things are on the move plus the ground gets soft! Sometimes I restack, so,entices I throw a tarp over them and burn the wood the following winter. It sucks....

I had a stack topple this year. Not sure why, unless the pallet under the wood gave out. Maybe it dried too fast on one side.
