Convinced Hubby we needed to build a 32' x 12' wood shed.

He even agreed to humor me and cut a design into all the roof rafters. Because after all, why have just a plan Jane wood shed, when you can have a pergola looking wood shed :)

What a guy!!

Slowest progress ever. We've decided to use up vacation time to finish up this project. Hopefully, we can finish this before snow starts falling.

Looking good! That's one big wood shed, you got enough wood on hand to fill it up?

Looks great. Wish I had made mine a 3 bay shed. May still put on an extension for that purpose.

Unfortunitly, no. Only have enough wood for this winter and partial for next year. Had too many projects going this year and then I added this wood shed. Not enough time for cutting and splitting. Going to kill me if I have to buy some.

Funny thing is.... I am thinking we should have done one more bay for equipment and stuff.

That's my plan. I built mine with the intention of adding some storage next year.

Finally finished!!

Put heavy duty landscape fabric down. Not sure how well that'll work out. Hoping it'll keep the bark and dirt from mixing with the stones.

Wrapped the bottom of the back and side with chicken wire to keep the leaves from blowing in.

Have an aisle down the entire center to be able to access and organize wood piles better. When we had the wood stacked before, I was finding we would end up stacking newer wood in front of older wood, for lack of anywhere else to put it.

Also, decided no more stacking on wood pallets. Sick of falling through the slates and injuring myself. Using 2x4s from now on.

Keep your eyes open for plastic pallets. They're the cats hiney for piling wood on, and/or getting it off the ground.

That's a pretty awesome looking wood shed - nice!

That's a beautiful thing!!!

I don't have a woodshed because....well... I don't know which end of the screwdriver you use to beat the nail in with!;em No talent in the building trades, none. But, by thunder, I can cook!;lol

Thanks for all the compliments.

Hubby never ceases to amaze me. I come up with all these crazy projects, draw up the plans and he implements them to a T.

Wow!!!! I can't even describe the awesomeness lol....looks great and very thought out design.
Have to admit. Once I decide on a project, I get a tad bit OCD about the whole thing. Probably spend more time on the planning than the building.
