Have an 3 yr old enviro Windsor that I think needs a new igniter. Is this a pretty straightforward DIY job? Any advice?

I can find the part online for much cheaper than it's selling for here - and response to servicing requests are slow at best.

Based on some probs in past years, I've found that my local dealer is painfully slow responding to service calls, other area dealers of Enviros are reluctant to service stoves bought elsewhere - and I don't find Enviro's site very helpful beyond the basic troubleshooting - and their customer service has been spotty.

I'm resigned to doing much of the servicing myself, esp. now that I found this forum and hearth.com. Great advice. THANKS.

Sorry my sited does not have intructions on how to replace the ignitor but it is self explanatory when you look at it
loosen one screw and unplug 2 wires

UN PLUG THE STOVE FIRST.

The windsor Ignitor is Very easy
the the trick is to remove the side panel that the control board is on and access the ignitor on that side
Im 99% sure we have the 400 ignitor in stock
some of the older windsors only had a 300 watt
the 400 watt will light much faster.

and you do know you can light it the old fashion way until we send you the ignitor.
use some fire starting gell or Cubes.
Or a Mapp gas torch
