After 5 bags of blazers this is what my ash pan looks like. I have a small ash pan and usually have ash stacked up to the burnpot after 5 bags with most any other brands. I could burn another 15 bags without having to vacuum out the pan. These pellets are awesome. They throw out great heat to.

I hear ya last year was my first year with a stove and my first ton was green garbage supreme. Literally more ash in half of 1 bag than the 5 bags of blazers. Also the ash was black and sooty where the blazers are grayish white ash

I buy my pellets 1 season ahead. This year's purchase was Blazers Which I won't start burning until next year.

That looks perfect..nothing wrong with that amount of ash at all!!
Definately a welcomed change from the norm ash content I am use to seeing with other premium pellets . Seeing we have the same stove you understand how low that ash content is after 5 bags. How are the cubex for you how often are you vacuuming out the ash pan? Happy thanksgiving

You will definately like the blazers. So far there are basically no fines in any of the bags i have opened and no crumbled pellets either. I suspect these pellets were transported in bulk on railcar from Oregon and bagged up here in the northeast explaining the low amount of fines? I could be wrong though just a thought. I think the okanagan dfs you are burning are a tick better. If I remebered correctly last year I burnt 7 bags of okie df and found them to be a little hotter and a little less ash than the blazers but I wouldn't spent the extra 60 bucks per ton for the okanagan dfs since I got the blazers at 299 per ton.

Dan without missing a beat , you always remind me how proud I am of my blazers. Hope you had a good thanksgiving:)
I did have a nice day with the most of the family.. part lives in Connecticut
and could not make it... Sounds like you did too... Nice and toasty with those Blazers!
Enjoy the heck out of those babies!!

$299, huh? I didn't know that... Good price...
