Need Advice on CDW Never Lit

SO glad I found you all!

I've already downloaded the manuals I found on here, very helpful.

I had no idea what my stove was until I saw one on eBay that was similar. I assume it's a CDW wood stove INSERT with backplate and the optional blower. When I clean up around it I will take a photo of it.

It was installed in my brand new HOME in 1990 and NEVER LIT!

So in essence, it is clean and like brand new!

I am looking to replace it with a pellet stove and wonder, if I can get this one out intact, I would like to sell it. What is a fair price?

When my chimney sprung a small leak I had it fixed right away. There was a small dribble of rust on the top of the stove which was cleaned up and buffed out right away so no major damaged ensued. You do realize that used one in the pic is going for $1500? There are no rodents in the combustion chamber, although last time I opened it, there was a dead bat skeleton at the bottom, pretty dried up to do any harm.

A happy person took away my stove today. He saw the ash pan was shiny and new as the stove was never lit so he got a good deal. Now I am trying to figure out how to keep my pellet model going.
