I've been away for a while, and really didn't post much last year. Hoping to do better this year, especially since I haven't had to spend a lot of time feeding the boiler ;-)

Here's what I've been doing during my summer vacation (and Fall, and Winter) - Contracted an Electrical Engineer to do some circuitry, and learned to do surface mount board design. The seven circuit boards in our controller have been condensed to two or three, depending on the model. We've added 1-wire support, wireless sensors, and a host of other goodies.

Lots of testing to do, and it looks like I'll finally have some college students helping explore the boundaries. I'm pretty excited about that. I'll be looking for problems to turn them loose on.

I'll be posting more. In the meantime, here are a couple of pictures of our new controllers:

Good to see you back. I have been wondering what you have been up to. Amazing stuff as usual I can see.
I am still running with you original NFCS that I built from your design. It has performed flawlessly for several years now running a complex wood and propane hydronic system. Anyone requiring detailed/flexible control, logging, remote control would be wise to consider your controller for their needs.

Thanks. I owe a lot to the folks on this forum, and I'm happy to be able to help when I can. We're now moving into building monitoring, building automation, and industrial controls. Despite that, our foundation (and my passion) is getting the most out of complex hydronic systems. I'm not about to forget my roots. Our product is still open source, so anyone who wants to can still build their own - we even have the source code on BitBucket now.
