And my breckwell big E convection blower stops working. its only on its second season. i think its time to get rid of it and burn wood. at least with a wood stove i can still use it and use a regular fan behind it.

I hope i can get the blower by next Tuesday or Wednesday, thats when it will warm up again.

I think another user here went through a couple of those fans in two years. Perhaps a design flaw - I think they have changed the part number and exact style, so hopefully the new one will serve you better.

I hope so. this machine(and it is) was running at full power for three day clips. i would stop it to clean it. it would be down only 2 hours and it went back to work.

I think dust gets into the bearings and the motor cannot turn the fan. theres alot of rezistince when trying to turn it manuly.

I have the stove in the cellar to heat the floors in the bedrooms and home thearter room. my feet today ar freezing.

I do belive instead of a pellet stove in the fireplace we will go with the wood burning insert. I do want to keep the Big E down stres because using pellets is very convinet.

I will let you know if i see a difference in the blowers.

thanks John

Where would the number be???The blower looks the same till you take a closer look at it.its alot Quieter.

Start digging around and find out the Grainger part # to fit your machine. Chances are they have something to cross reference that costs half price or less. Its hard to figure out sometimes but there are guys out there who have already figured it out and posted it someplace. Take a look in iburnpellets.com I just bought 4 auger motors for my Countryside from a guy who helped me out via his commercial account in exchange for him getting one. Price each $125 motor $27 and shipping. Markup much, no dealer should be making that much . PERIOD.unless he is an Arab or an oil man. They are special cases.

I am going to look into granger and other places. The only thing i was worried about is the motor being the same as the one that went bad early in life. the Complete blower housing is the "updated " version that should last alot longer then the original design. i did get it from Breckwell direct over the interment.

I have more parts listed than they do
and I have better descriptions and trouble shooting.

Did they charge you for shipping
I tried the order system but would not give me shipping unless it is after the credit card info.

I dont know the number of the "new blower" because its back into the stove. the guy next door works on oil burner's and he agrees the blower motor is different and better in design then the old ones.

I will look tomorrow for the new number.

Let me look. it was zero out when it took a dump. i will have the answer tomorrow.

Merry Christmas! John

johnny I read that you were running this stove on full power for three days straight. I worry that your stressing the heater too much. The manual only calls for running on level 5 for an hour then stepping it down to position 4. I leave mine on position 4 and periodically stepping up to 5 and back to 4 when the hour is up. I too clean mine everyday and knock on wood never had problems with it.
