I can not really find any reasons for ordering the scirocco 20.1 over the 30.1 other than a lower price and lower weight to deal with. Am I missing something here. The 30.1 has less clearance requirements so the 20.1 and 30.1 will fit in the same size space. Also seems like on low they each put out the same btu's so seems like any issue of overcooking with the 30.1 are moot. Am I missing something here. Are there any other reasons someone might order a 20.1 over a 30.1.

The 20 box is a flop. The only thing you missed is that the 30 has a lower low output and a higher high output plus burns 50% longer at any output. Reports are that the 20 even costs more. Perhaps they should have spent time on a 40.1!

I'm with you. The non-cat PSG guys are getting 4.9 CF through a 6" flue pipe and that includes all that circuitous routing around the baffle. Even BK's furnace at some ungodly cubic footage (over 5?) gets through a 7" flue. The 8" is a relic of the past.
Yes, I would like a king on my 6" shop flue.
