I would recommend staying away from these pellets that are sold by Wal-Mart in Canada. Very poor burning, causes a lot of ash, carbon buildup and huge clinkers.
Interesting. I saw these in the local Wal-Mart in Halifax, but gave them a pass. From what 709GAD is saying, they are a far cry from the Trebios Wal-Mart has carried for the past number of years - and my personal favourite wood pellet.
On your point Cory S, we have a local pellet mill selling wood pellets made from MDF sawdust and shavings. The owner swears it is safe to burn the MDF pellets, but I'm not convinced. I've seen several MSDS that say you should not burn MDF under any circumstances. I think I'll stick with the real thing.
