Ok, so that turkey is up and running(the piazzetta). I don't know the but output of either stove, but so far I'd say my cab50 put out more heat than the much fancier sabrina. Now I need new pipe and motherboard for old faithful. (Cab50). First thoughts on the piazzetta-i REALLY miss the cab50's huge hopper. Quiet stove, though. No complaints, and at $250 I really can't complain at all.

Have you downloaded a manual and done a full blown(leaf blower and air assisted blower via air compressor) cleaning? Pesky Elena has a pair of cleaning ports in the back of the stove and one has to take the sides off to do properly.

No I have not. I used the ass end of my shop vac to blow out piping, but I did not take off the side panels. I will get into that this afternoon, and thank you for the heads up!

Mine acted the same way. Very little heat but would run. After blowout turned into a Italian Stallion. Common issue with used stoves is usually lack of proper cleaning. Frequent treatments with a leaf blower after proper cleaning and the stove won't miss a beat. Takes longer to get the drop cord out than the it takes to suck out the ash with LBT. Probably that designs best friend. Remember to keep the door open and disconnect the vac switch

Exactly where do you use the leaf blower? If you don't mind, a quick tutorial. I'd like to get more heat out of the sabrina. Not that I'm complaining- just more is better in this case

Wow $250? I'm sure you win deal of the year...so far. I wouldn't have hesitated....just would have bought it to re sale if nothing else. Good job!

Adapt the suction side of the LB to fit on the exhaust venting to suck out the ash etc. Many youtube videos. May not want to do it in the daytime if you have close neighbors.

I like the idea of two stoves. More even heat. The piazzetta is here. $250! Delivered!! I told you guys I could get it for a great price. It's black, so I'm going to paint the sides a pretty color to help in convincing my wife of this. Nice looking stove. I like the idea of not having one stove blasting, and a separate fan humming the heat around... anyone have any tips/warnings for the piazzetta? (I have read the post by pascal maertins)
250$ isn't there missing a 2 in front, I check my mail every day and I come on the forum once in a while so if you have any question regarding Piazzetta just send me a message

Regards

I had earlier called them "window mounted home burners"
Should have stated in my previous post the real world value of "0"

Dog house, are you sure? Why do you say that? Burning more pellets is counter to what I want to do, wich is to save money. What is your take on this?

Multiple years using multiple stoves. It's a balancing act. Sounds like your first stove was working to the limit to not quite keep up with your heating needs; say 5.5 to 6 pounds per hour. So in order to heat your home to the temp you really want, you need more pellets, i.e. more pounds. It doesn't matter how you spread the total around, you will use more pellets. Now with two stoves, you have a better balance.

I wouldn't install a window unit for anyone they are dangerous plus junk.
"Canadian" version called Eco Aire is listed on kijiji (like Craigs list) for $1100. Posted at the start of December. Sent the lister an email with the link on the recall. Seriously thinking about reporting the ad to get it off there. I'm stewing about the safety of someone's family and property as it is a rural area outside Thunder Bay.

I would like to know how much just the Pabst exhaust fan motor is? I got the Elena a couple years ago for $500 with spare igniter and control head.
