What a PAIN!!!! Do not buy one of these models. I purchased one around September before the EPA approved this model and was told there would be very little ash left over and that I had enough wood to last 3 years stored up if I used this model. After waiting about two months for the EPA to approve it, I helped the dealer finish installing it around the 1st of December. Very poor results immediately. The blower holes keep getting blocked because they're located at the BOTTOM of the unit where you put the wood. Does anyone else see a problem here? You have to keep all the holes open for it to work "efficiently" but how do you fill it with wood and NOT cover the holes? Does CB offer a money back guarantee? Any other 750 suckers out there?

Did you research before you decided to buy? Can remember reading much good about any of E-classic models.

This topic seems a bit suspect to me. First post by a new user six weeks +/- after starting to use his brand new $15k rig?

If this post is for real I'd assume there is something significantly problematic with what you're trying to burn. E-Classics take a bit of a beating around here but flat-out just not working is not something I've heard before. I'm going to throw my money on "uber wet wood" if this is a legitimate post.

The 750 should have those bars that hang on the side of the firebox to keep the wood from laying on the side of the boiler. Can you please post your moisture content. Split a piece of wood and measure the fresh wood exposed. Should be 15-25%. How deep is the coal bed you have established? How big are your splits?
