My stove did not light this morning and the error message said the auger motor was stuck. I watched a youtube video and then I removed all my pellets and proceeded to remove the back left panel as you face the stove. I chose the left side because that is where the feed hole and auger is when you lift open the top. When I looked in there Im not really seeing the auger in there so Im not sure what to do now. Is it possible it may be on the right side of the stove? This all happened when I let it get lower on pellets than I normally do. It was almost out and then I added a new bag to it. Although it did light up the next time. I have removed all the pellets and vacuumed out the feed hole in the top of the stove. I can reach down in there and feel the auger move some from side to side but it does not turn. Thanks for any help. Ive enclosed a photo of what Im seeing after I removed the left side panel.

It would be helpful to know the make, model, and year of your stove.

I would try power cycling and running the test mode.

It is a Quadra Fire Mt. Vernon AE. I did suck all the pellets out of the hopper and then put a cup into the firepot and then a few cups into the hopper. The fire has lit and most of the hopper pellets were gone so it may be working now. I put another couple or cups in the hopper so if the fire is still burning in 30 minutes and the few cups I have put in has gone down, I know its working again for sure and it may have just been clogged. I will update. Thanks.

That's the control board side of stove, the right side panel is where auger motor is located. If you run stove out of pellets it will take a few minutes for the auger to load up again.

Thanks. Hopefully I wont have to remove it. I believe that the auger is working now after I vacuumed it out. I should know for sure in about an hour but the pellet level in the hopper seems to be getting lower and the fire has not gone out.

Are you sure its not a hybrid stove. A cross between a stove and a slot machine. Feed never give me any output on a slot machine either.
