I use GasBuddy to check prices around my travel areas. Lowest in MN right now is 1.55 in Maple Grove

Fired up the pellet first time all yr, got 25 bags of leftover's, we'll see, been using oil $1.39, Ilike the house evenly heated and the cellar warm burning oil

The cheapest oil I've seen near me is $1.40
$1.79 here. I live in between western and central, so my delivery options are sometimes limited. Some places say I'm too far for delivery.

Pellets are $159/ton at our Home depot. Not great pellets, but the price is OK. My backup heat is propane, which is higher than oil, but it still may be a wash on cost per Btu. I burn the pellets because they put money into my local economy and use a renewable resource. Call me green...

$159 or $259? I ask because $259 is pretty common at HD's. If it is $159, which HD and what was the brand? Maybe other HD locations will price match.

I still see 259/ton online at lowes and home depot in southern NH. I've been using stove chow this year but haven't burned nearly as much this winter due to warmer weather so I'm sitting on about 5 tons. Stove chow hasn't been that great, burns decently but quite a bit of ash (my ash bin is small so I empty every 2 weeks with these). Would like to find a cleaner pellet with a reasonable price. Okie Golds were good in my stove but 315/ton is a bit steep.

Which Home Depot is selling wood pellets for $159/ton?

My guess is none. Probably a typo. I called a bunch in MA and NH over the weekend and they were all still at $259.00 TSC has dropped to 229.00 per ton though.

It won't be for long if these temps stay at 40+/

$240 for dry creeks here 2 miles from me I paid $300 in the fall but still higher than 2 years ago.

Or to do. But they don't seem to be doing it, not where I've looked anyway. I'm sure they went into this expecting to have empty yards by now. Typically in another three or four weeks winter supplies and pellets start drying up as BBS change over for spring products. Hmmm.
In my area they have already started to bring out the summer stuff.
