Yep. the LED for the igniter doesn't even light up. Two different boards now. It worked fine before my last cleaning (date of OP). I ran it out of pellets, cleaned it , swapped ESP (changed dip switch accordingly) and at start up no ignitorLED and no igniter, dist. blower runs all the time.. Swapped board same issues. Checked polarity, cleaned ground. No changes.

I'm not so sure your problem isn't with the ESP you are using. The old boards are meant to be used with the black ESP. Was there something wrong with the black ESP that you changed to the Red? The new boards can use either and work fine with dip switch change, but the old one's you might have to go back to the black ESP.

The black ESP was dead. I had read here that by flipping the dip switch the red would work. Given the fact that it's 1/3 less and the budget was toast I went red. Shouldn't I get a fault code if it's the wrong ESP?

Board not excepting the ESP would or should say could be the reason for the fan going to full on and the stove not wanting to fire the igniter thinking its already hot. Just trying to think the logic of the problem. Would think that the stove would go to idle though.

Hmmm. I suppose it's possible. I may have to "deal with it" for the rest of the season as long as it keeps working.

With the next week or so being predicted at or below normal temps, don't mess with if its working. Looks like I won't be shutting down anything here for the next week once I get everything going tomorrow.

Yes. Igniter is on Auto. I tried it on manual per the owners manual with no result. Thanks to a board member I'm going to try a used black ESP and see if it solves the problem

Swapped in a black ESP and it works perfectly. Soo for those who think it might be worth it to try a much cheaper red ESP on an old board don't do it. I tried it on two different old boards and it did not work correctly.
