I have a P68 pellet stove. I shut the stove down before going to bed. In the morning, I would still see little flames coming out in the burn pot. I noticed that the feed motor will come on for about 2-3 seconds every 3 minutes. It's not shutting down. I clicked the igniter switch to manual, turned the feeder adjuster dial to 1, turned the temp dial to 1, and mode selector off. It just started doing this for about a week now. I would appreciate any help from anyone with similar problem. Thanks

I would think that IF you are in room/auto mode? when you shut down, the long black wire probe is still sensing that u need heat..[.just 1 of many thoughts here]..
I'm sure others will chime in soon enough...

when you do the above, does the stove finally shut off because if it does, then room/auto is not working right and the probe is where u should look 1st... make sure it's still connected in the back of the stove...
A common problem with the Harman stoves is a bad potentiometer, aka pot. You can search these forums and find numerous posts about the problem. You can try using compressed air or an electronics spray cleaner but the only thing I found that worked was to replace it. If you can solder then the part can be replaced for just a few dollars.

I checked the probe as you suggested. It looks ok. It hasn't been touched or changed.
We bought this house 2 years ago. It's probably 6 years old when the house was built. What's a potentiometer? This is the first wood pellet stove we ever have.
It's an electronic component which has a variable resistance. It's made of a wire wound around a core with an electronic contact that slides across the wire. The knob on the front side of the control panel is mounted to the slider of the potentiometer. In the photo it's the blue squares mounted to the board.

When you turn the stove off, the status light goes off. Does this happen for you? If not, keep turning the knob further down (towards stove/constant mode) until the status light goes out. If this happens, I would use compressed air on the contact clean to clean behind the board. Or you would have to remember the position of the knob to where it will turn off.
If the status light goes out when you are directly near off, then I would suggest cleaning the ESP probe.

Clean the esp if you haven't already. They can get cruddy and cause wonky things to happen.
They go bad every now and then, so I wouldn't be suprised if you need a new one.
The pots can cause problems too, but I would start with the esp.
