After a little searching and finding their FB page I came across these videos of the stove referred to in the article.
It is going to be called the GranView

I posted a message on their FB page and they stated that the website updates are in the works.
But for info on the stove email them at [email protected] and they will send you that info.

Nice fire!

I think this new entry may have some interesting features and to be honest, it hits my sweet spot regarding me wanting heat and the wife wanting a pretty fire with size.

I've spoken to several people at the company and they've impressed me with their knowledge a won me over (fingers crossed). In the next month or two, I expect to be ordering a Granview and as soon as I get it, I'll report back so people here can add it to their list of products to check out.

Sounds good! Keep us posted and take pics of that beauty once it's burning.

Not an about face, was always sitting on the fence trying to figure out what worked best for my application. Truth is, I don't believe anyone currently offers an EPA approved "fireplace like" unit as large as the Wilkens (Which is what I need to please the wife). I'm certain if this units works out well, other companies will knock it off quickly, but my issue was always, do I want to be a guinea pig and go through the anticipated hassles.

After talking to the company, I got comfortable with their knowledge and believe they will support the installation like I will require. As for price, we will see where it ultimately comes out, but I'm certain I will get VALUE for my money. If the pricing ends up being higher then I feel its worth, I'll simply continue my search and move on.

Stay tuned ...
