Installed my P35i back in October or November and have been using it consistently ever since. Thanks to all who gave me pointers on here. We've gone through about 1.5 tons this year and the stove has been working great up until recently. The convection fan chit the bed and while it still works, it is unbearably loud. Watching TV is impossible over the fan. I probably let the problem get worse than I should have.

I'm seeing replacements online for 300$ for the entire fan assembly.

I've also seen that some people replace or upgrade some of the motors in their stoves with a unit from Grainger. Anyone know if this convection fan is a candidate for that? Can I replace just the bearings themselves? The fan is under warranty so it's really no skin off my back.
 
Just replaced mine under warranty. I didn't realize just how bad my old one was until the new one kicked in. Much quieter and I get better combustion in the burn pot, too.
 
Peterfield- that's the combustion blower which I have replaced as well. That guy was much easier.

Thanks for the replies though. I went up to the stove dealer after work and they had a replacement fan. The one I recieved is the part that goes on the XXV and Accentra, however it fits the P35Ii as well. Install was mostly straightforward minus a few caveats. I plan to do a write up since I took pictures along the way.

Contact your dealer and have them replace it, you paid for the warranty, use it.

If your stove was installed in Nov. it should be covered under warranty, you need to contact your dealer and have it replaced at no cost to you. You paid for that warranty, use it.
