Hello,
I'm a newbie to pellet stoves and picked up the 49-shcpm from a friend. He was burning a mixture of wood pellets and corn. I am burning just wood pellets right now and was told by englander support to set the bottom 3 to 5-9-1. Everything I read on this forum says 1-1-1 or 2-2-1. It's definitely warm but i'm burning through about 40lbs per 9 hrs at 8-9 on top two. Any recommendations? I'm using the duravent ac-33000 and am directly through wall and three ft vertical up outside wall with a cap. I changed it to pellet mode and am getting 168 deg f at convection blower. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

From what I understand, those three numbers are just for the two lowest burn values. I would suggest a search of the forum to see what you can find ... Summer Heat, Timber Ridge and England Wood Stove are all the same stoves so you can search all variations ...
10-CPM, 49-SHCPM or 49-TRCPM

The 49-SHCPM is a single auger stove, correct? If so, the three bottom numbers work through all the heat settings. Mostly, positively sure about that.

Thanks for the info!!

OK.. Finally had time to call and test settings out. I was told that factory settings are 1-4-1 but was advised to try 1-6-1. Have tried a bunch of different combos but best flame/heat for me is what the first tech said 5-9-1.
So i will stick with those and see how it goes.
Thanks

Thanks for letting us know how you made out ... Wondering if the preferred set-up is related to the board (original or replacement?) or pellets you are burning. Be surprised how much difference there is between brands of pellets:) What are you burning?
