This ain't fair. With no pets, no anthropomorphic needs as yet, why should we be denied the prize ?
In contests, "no purchase required" is the rule. So, "no pet required" to enter ???:confused:;);)
Go to your local animal shelter...there will be rabbits, cats, dogs and so many more animals needing you....even if you don't need them. I assure you, you'll fall in love!

My wife and I used to go to a cat shelter just to pet them for a few hours... then we adopted one & fostered a bunch or litters of kittens. Now we have our two permanent cats and don't get out to the shelters as often, but I highly recommend visiting them even just to socialize with ze kitties.

That's how I wound up with a Dingo in front of my stove!

We are confirmed DINPs, having gone from being DINKs.
No pets, no kids now, freedom to roam. Creative selfishness.
Although when it is well below 0 F now, the three dog night wouldn't be so bad.....just for this night.
Bless our wood stoves..............

I like that stove room, but can anyone quote the required clearances between the stove and a residential lily pond?
Zero as it is non combustible.

Question on contest rules: Does a catfish in a boiling lily pond count as "pet" or "lunch" ?
Okay - you win the internet for a day. ;lol;lol;lol

This gal always puts a smile on my face

Man, that's a gorgeous install. I love the lights shining on the stacked rock alcove walls.
Thanks! I converted the area In the fall of 2014. It formerly housed a NZ3000 zero clearance stove.

Ok I'll be the first with a picture of a cat by the fire. ;lol

If BK uses the photos do you suppose they will go in and clean the glass with a photo edit?

Why would the glass be dirty? I've just not had much trouble with that. It'll happen on real warm days, but if I let er rip for a while after a reload it stays pretty clean.

I suspect the vertical glass of the Ashford stays cleaner than the slightly tilted glass of the Princess due to the more linear airflow of the air wash.

Just look at the photos submitted thus far, there is black on that glass. The stoves look much nicer with a lively fire and clear glass and since this is a marketing thing I would expect them to want their products to look great.

I haven't even loaded in the last 2.5 days. We are so warm. The glass is cold and black but I did just install slate around my raised hearth yesterday in prep for pictures.

Actually BeGreen, the angle of the glass has little to do with it.

Here is my 10 YO black lab "Shadow" in his usual spot, our cat "Stoli" (short for Stolichnaya-she is a Siberian long hair) moved in for some heat as well this weekend from our Ashford. There is another unnamed cat in the picture- maybe you can find it.

Here is our Black Mouth Cur, Catahoula Leopard Hound cross named Kobe. He has a heck of a story, but the short of the long is he was due to be culled by a Gov. trapper since he became gun shy, so we took him instead. He is an amazing dog, smarter than our Border Collie, and has a nose like no other. He is the household Blaze King fanboy.

Maybe it does look better with flames... Just turn the knob and presto!

Kobe does have competition for stove front property in our house. Mainly the preteen critter! You can see the consternation on Kobe's face.
