My youngest won't allow me to fill the hopper without helping. As soon as he sees me bring the bag upstairs, he makes a B-line to the stove.

Cherish those 'bonding' moments Ranger, even when he at times, no doubt, helps you right out of your mind ! :) It's a great way to impart some stove safety awareness at his young age, and maybe even getting him bought into helping haul and load pellets when he is big enough one day !

I remember when my kids were that age, like it was yesterday. Then before you know it they are all grown up. Time stands still for no one.

Time sure does fly. My oldest is 13, my middle guy is 5 and the little guy pictured above is 1. He may make a mess 'helping', but I love every minute of it. Haha
 
Yeah, Don't blink your eyes because next time you look they will be big and older really fast.
 
Start teaching them repairs for the stove so you don't have to fix it in a few years...
