Fellow wood burners,

I'm (along with the comander-in-chief) looking to take a road trip this late Winter /early Spring top see a functional boiler with storage setup. Ideally while visiting I could see the boiler being fired and charging stoarage

If anyone is willing to give me a couple hours for show &tell please let me know. Reply or send me a PM. Ideal locations would be Ohio, western PA, eastern IN, SE Michigan, and maybe western WV. We live in zip code 44807 if it helps your decision. How far we can travel depends on many factors so don't count yourself out.

If this trip happen awesome, if not I'll just be posting lots of questions in the future while I try to get this system bought & installed this summer.

I understand that everyone is busy and time is valuable so I will thank you in advance for considering hosting us.

I live in south central Wisconsin zip code 53913 so it would be a long trip for you. I have been using mine with storage since winter of 2011-12. I would be happy to speak with you via phone to answer questions and describe my experience.

Happy to help you out if you are ever heading way east just let me know. You can check for some posts on Effecta and heating with low flow temp water. If that is of interest to you my boiler has all of the controllers already built in. Just give a holler a bit in advance if you are interested in heading to Connecticut. Maybe if you take the commander-in-chief along the way she will let you get a really nice setup:). Meant to say if you take her to NYC along the way.....

I am in York PA. I have heated storage all winter, but I was to chicken to disconnect the oil boiler and connect it to the eko 40 in the middle of winter. I hope to get things finished in 2 weeks while the wife and kids are away. Stop by in 2 weeks and I will give you a pipe threading job.

Side note my dad worked for Allis Chalmers many years ago here in York.

Your welcome to check out my biomass 60 if you want. Looks like I'm about an hour and a half from you. I live about 15 min. west of defiance Ohio. I burn year around for D.H.W.
