Hi,
Just posting for the first time after a bit of lurking. Has anyone any opinions about connecting a fresh (outside air) inlet to a pellet stove- I have a Paromax Europa.

Thanks.

Couldn't find any good photos on the intake air ... The only time I wouldn't consider an OAK would be when there is no direct connection to the fire box on the stove. In that case, I would have to think long about the advantages with potential "spillage" of really cold air (-50C at times) into the room.

Good point. It's sort of a subject that I have never seen anyone mention.
But, with my Quads I have found a way to defeat the cold air flowing into the room when the stoves are not running.

Go for it why take air from inside your home that has been heated

Still wish Bart would've let me keep score on # of times this was asked in a single season.

Subject has been beat to death

Cabin fever setting in. Best answer is why do you want to exh the hot air the stove produces outside?
True enough , along with drawing cold air in to replace it. But non the less, some people on here think that's a great idea .
