Englander replacing FASCO with P-TECH motors!!!

I recently received a new combustion blower from Englander and immediately took notice that the "noisy" Fasco motor was replaced with a new "quiet" P-TECH. Unbelievable improvement and kudos to Englander for the improvement!! Here are the specs: P-TECH Model 8121-1283. 115v/60Hx 1.05A 3200RPM AO It apparears that the motor is strictly built for Englander. P-TECH website is quite vague: ptechusa.com/

Both have the same blower, but this one went into my PDVC!

I called Englander tech service and was told they have changed the motors on both combustion & convection blowers FANFREAK'NTASTIC I can only speak about the combustion blower, but all I can say is the P-TECH is QUIET compared to the nails on chalk board Fasco

Sounds like you got 2 from the "non" noisy batch LOL!! I sent you a PM last week and I think now I have found a remedy. It gonna be in the 60's and even 70 on Thursday!
