Basement Water infiltration (Sorry long read)

i wouldnt make a solution first. sprinkle on the powder. if you dont see it disappearing after like 30 minutes then add some water to help it along. let us know how this works out. might take 2-3 times. if its iron bacteria clogging the pipes, you'll see big red scary looking clumps entering the crock once the iron out does its thing.

I add a little iron out once a month as maintenance, or (if i remember) a little extra when i know its going to rain hard.
