Pellets at $1.99/bag. All I saw was GWP (Maine's Choice), but didn't ask if they had others. Also the website shows that the Concord, NH store is at the same price. This does not include Green Teams.

Thanks to @Harman Lover 007 for posting the price of his local Lowe's which made me run out and check (I needed paint brushes anyway :)).

Let see. $100/ton. That is a very good price. Thinking about how to store.

Just checked. Lowes Greenland is $1.99 per bag.
And so is Lowe's Seabrook, NH.
And so is Rochester, NH.
Many Lowe's store. Maybe it is just a matter of time for all stores in NH to be reduced to
$1.99 per bag.
Prices good to March 21, 2016.

Lowe's, Epping is the only store near me at $3.98 per bag. Maybe they
have not gotten the communications from corporate yet. Or maybe the
website is incorrect. Time for me to make some phone calls to get the most
up to date infor.

Bought 6 tons last sat at 179 ton there going to be delivered next week but just now they just adjusted my card to 99 ton

Folks,
I called some of the Lowe's Store located in the Seacoast, NH.
Here is what I found:
Lowe's Greenland $99.50/ton
(Described as $199/ton, Buy one, get one free.)
Maine's Choice,
Lowes, Epping Still at old higher price of $199/ton.
Maine's Choice
Lowe's Seabrook $99.50/ton
Inferno Gold
Maine's Choice
Lowe's Rochester $99.50/ton
Nation's Choice
Nature's Own
Maine's Choice
Inferno Gold
Shipping is $65 for any number of tons.
Lowes told me that there is a 10% chance that you will not get
the brand that you ordered.
For what it is worth, I will state that I purchased another four tons of
Nature's Own. They will be stored outside. That brings my inventory
to 15.8 tons. About six year's worth. I do not think we are going to see
$100/ton prices ever again.

Couldn't resist - have 4 more tons being delivered first Saturday in April. They only have Maine's Best left, but that is fine by me at that price :)

Got mine....seabrook.
30-40 tons left and moving out fast.

That is what they are looking to do. The gal at the service desk called deliver department to see if the free delivery was still available. While she was talking to him, she said, in effect; I knew they dropped the price just to get rid of them, but thought they might wave the delivery too.

Bless her heart, without me even saying anything except asking how much delivery would be to my place (30+ miles) and she tried to get it for free.

I bought 4 tons Feb 26 for $756 ($3.99/bag) including free delivery and 5% discount for paying with Lowes CC. Went to the store today and got a $358 rerfund for the difference from the current price ($1.99/bag). total $100/ton delivered. All set for next winter and well into the year after that. I drove around back of the store and they still have a lot of pellets back there.

Hi Peterfield or anyone else,
How do I send a private message to another member on the forum?
If we can find a storage unit 1/2 way between two members.
But outside storage might work O.K. I have not run out of yard space, *yet*.

Just click on their name and on the next screen, click on Start Conversation..

No free delivery - had to pay $70 for delivery since I am outside their area (30+ miles). I am okay with that, still effectively paid $117/ton.

Hmm, I got 2 tons (free delivery) on 2/27 - I think it may be worth my while to drive up and see if I can get some of my money back. Thanks for posting that - which store was that at?

Do you have to effectively do a return, then a repurchase or how does it work?

In my case it is Lowes Bedford. The company policy is they will meet the lowered price if bought in the prior 30 days.

Thanks for the info - I got those particular tons in Concord (I'm 30+ miles away from any Lowes so it depends on where I am at at the time), good to know - thanks!

Call them. You can do it over the phone. I was in the area and didn't have my original receipt just the CC statement.

Hmm, if I get the $200 back from last month's delivery, I could add another two tons to my next delivery and effectively pay $111/ton. Or, I could use the money and put it towards buying a shelter for the 8 tons that will be outside for the next year or so. Decisions, decisions :)
