Hi 2006- Glad you got through the interference to get her installed. Did you use 1-1/4 metal and silicone it into place? If so, that'll work well for you. One of my stoves has OAK, the other one don't. They both work fine, but I am pro OAK when it can reasonably be done. Good luck with your Empress.
