I have been reading all I can on those boiler and it seems nice. The one question I still.have after checking around is can the boiler burn pellets without the hopper on the side. Is there a small internal hopper?

Here is Woodmaster's phone number in MN. Probably central time zone. 218-253-3116 or 218-253-4328. One number is a tech guy named Len. Very helpful and knowledgable. Can't remember which number is which though.

the answer is no. the hopper on the side is the hopper and holds the feed auger.

I have the unit with the hopper. It wasn't much more to add it. I haven't used pllets since owning this unit. I purchased it so i didn't have to pay for extra shipping later down the line. Call there customer service line and ask. Lynn is the mechanical guy there. I would spend hours on the phone with him during my install. Great group. Good luck.

For some reason the flex fuel gets the silent treatment around here. This forum is the BEST. Im far from a plumber and with the help of this site, I installed the entire system in 1.25 copper, MYSELF. You will not find a better place for information and help. These guys are the best.
