we bought a cab50 in mid December. We've burned 2 ton of pellets through it this year. About a month ago we had the thermocouple replaced because the amber light in the control box would blink and the stove would shut down. That has stopped, however now everytime we start the stove, we have to press the reset button or the stove doesn't fire right. The pellets will drop and the fire will start, but the blowers don't kick on and the stove shuts down. This happens almost every time we start the stove. We are not sure if this is the thermocouple again or something else. We have a warranty for a year, so we'd like to solve this issue before that ends!

As Rich2500 stated, make sure its clean (3 panels on back wall are removed and ash removed).
Pull left panel do you can observe the LED in the control module. Start fire via thermostat and look for Green LED as fire starts then a few minutes later a Red LED. If the Led goes back to green the fire is not getting hot enough in start cycle thus the need for reset.
Try starting on High setting and see if it starts normally. I've had a couple Cab50s that were very sensitive to starting normally in Med setting, High or Low were fine.
Also try opening up pellet feed gate to allow for more pellets during starting.
And if course, is thermocouple fully seated in ceramic cap and in proper position over burnpot?

I have cleaned the stove well. I do it about once a week. The light turns green when the stove starts but doesn't make it to red before it starts shutting down. After I hit reset, the light quickly becomes red and the blowers start. I have noticed if it's on high, it normally will start up ok. I just want to make sure the issue is nothing too big and $$$$ since we still have out warranty

Open up feed gate all the way, that should help. My experience is that Med setting doesn't feed enough pellets fir the amount of cimbustion air flowing thru burnpot. As the clinker ir ash builds up its reliable on restarts but once clinker is dropped with a cold stove it's back to hitting restart button again. Again i feel its due to the lean mixture on Med setting.
I now run my cab50 24/7. Igniter gets used once per week, clinker is dropped once or twice per week. I use a spoon to put hot embers back into firepot after dropping clinker, then put a paint cap worth of pellets on top to keep fire going. Hopper door is opened prior to this to stop feeding and to let fire die down to just embers then clinker is dropped. Same approach used before insides are brushed with old paint brush to remove insulating ash build up

Sometimes when the stove is stone cold the amount of pellets dropped for start up isn't enough to satisfy the thermocouple. I believe it has to reach

within five minutes of ignition to start droppnig pellets. You will have to press the reset or before starting drop a handful of pellets in the pot.
A combination of sawdust and pellets on the bottom end of the auger reduces the amount of fuel supply to the firepot. This can result in mis-starts. Empty the hopper and vacuum out the auger channel removing all sawdust. Also, use a mirror and a flashlight and look up the pellt drop chute. At the top of the chute sawdust can build up and reduce the pellet feed. I attach a piece of garden hose to my ash vac wrapping the hose with 3/4" door insulating tape to get a tight fit into the vac hose. Run this up the auger chute to clear any sawdust.
